Wet n Wild Comfort Zone Eyeshadow Palette

I’m changing things up this week since I’ve still got my gel nails on! This has been an over due eye shadow palette review that I completely forgot about! Back in Christmas season, CVS had a Wet n Wild palette kit which included an eye shadow palette, an eye primer, and an eyeliner. This has been in my makeup storage for quite some time and forgot about it. The only reason I remembered it was because I was wearing a green top and wanted to go for a green look, and I found the palette hiding. This palette has 6 shades, and is called Comfort Zone.

There’s 2 sets of shadow shades: a rosey taupe set and an emerald green set.

The Rosey Taupe Set:

A light golden shimmery brow bone color. I use this for the brow bone and also sometimes in the inner corner for a pop of color!
A rosey eyelid shade: This usually my go to eyelid color when I want a rosey pink look. I love how its light and actually very buildable.
A medium bronze crease shade: I wish the picture would do the color justice! It’s a medium bronze with metallic shimmer. I sometimes use this as an eyelid shade for the days I want a basic bronze look
A darker brown definer shade: This is probably one of the darkest shade in this palette! It has a burgandy reddish glitter to it. I love using this as an eyeliner for those days I don’t want to use a gel or liquid liner.

The Emerald shades:

I’ve read that people who use an emerald shade for brown eyes makes the eyes pop. So I love this part of the palette!

A. a bronze browbone: Again I use this for mostly the inner eye. It’s such a pretty bronze taupe shimmer.
B. a spring green eyelid: This is actually my favorite color from the whole palette. It’s a pretty shimmery green that is buildable. It looks really pretty on top of the Revlon ColorStay Creme Eyeshadow in Pistachio.
C. a grayish brown with a shimmery top crease. It’s a bit harder to blend in compared to the others.
D. a red brown with a blue-teal duochrome and frosty top. I love this is shade as well just because it’s so different!

Wet n Wild Here’s to the Wild Ones Review and Swatch!

Ahh I’ve been so missing and I’m so sorry. Things got a little hectic so I was away for awhile but I’m back again!

I hope you all had a great Halloween! I realized that mostly every season Wet n Wild comes out with a Limited Edition collection and this fall wasn’t an exception. I made it my mission to get all 6 nail polishes, something I’ve never done before! What I love about this, is that they all have a metallic finish!!

Getting Inked- a pretty burgandy purple with a metallic finish

Stop and Mel-the-Roses: I cant help but think of Santa Claus when I see this color?

I wanted to include my usual Mani Monday so I wore this color, I love it!! Probably another new favorite of reds, especially for this season.

Pop-up Bluetique: metallic blue!! You can never have too many blues.

Thrift Shopaholic: a purple with a metallic finish (of course!!)

I Moss Have It: a mossy green that would look perfect in the fall and winter!!

Keep Vinyl Alive: a musky grey with metallic and sparkles!

Julie G Passion

How are you all?! I figured I would change up this week and do my Mani day today instead. (Back to the old days!)

So in my last post, I mentioned that I bought some nail polishes at the .99 cent only store and oh dear lord, I love them! It also helps that its pretty darn cheap! I only paid .99 compared to going to Rite Aid and paying $3.99 or so.

I really love this color and how it changes color in the sun.

Revlon ColorStay Sunburst!

I hope you all are doing great! I’m so sorry for not posting as much as I used to, but been kind of busy with work! But I’m back. 🙂

I feel like I haven’t done a Mani Monday in forever. I scored this polish at the 99 cent store for only $1.99! Who would have thought you can find drugstore brands at the dollar store!

I’m wearing the Revlon ColorStay in the shade Sunburst. It’s a jelly type texture while I had to do a few layers for it to come out like that! The top coat on the middle finger is SinfulColor “Frenzy”.

What do you guys think?! 🙂 What’s your opinion about jelly polishes?

Revlon 260 Bold Sangria

Hi Lovelies!

I hope you all are doing great! This week I wanted to change up my nail polish since lately I’ve been doing the Covergirl Hunger Games edition of Mani Fridays.

I’m wearing Revlon ColorStay Longwear Nail Enamel in 260 Bold Sangria. It’s a medium deep purple cream shade. I definitely love it! With one coat, its very light but I did use a second coat which made it more dark. However there is still some patches where the color isn’t concentrated but its OK! I could easily use that nail as an accent nail and use a glitter coat on top if I wanted to.

I got this for a real good deal at CVS just this past week actually. After I scanned my CVS ExtraCare card at the magic red machine, I received a $3 off any Revlon Cosmetics and I also had a manufacture coupon as well that was $1 off. Not to mention, this specific color was 50% off with a pink sticker. I basically just paid the tax! 😀

P.S.!! If you do want to snag a few makeup products on clearance at CVS, always look for the pink, green or blue sticker that mentions it’s either 25%, 50% or 75% off. You will simply be amazed!

Revlon 730 Valentine

This weekend I’m wearing the Revlon 730 Valentines. It’s a classic red wine oldie that I totally forgot I had. I used the Orly Poli-Shield top coat.

I have a few upcoming reviews on the Lemongrass Spa products and can’t wait to post them!

Sinful Colors Shine In The Limelight

While I was at Walgreens a few days ago, I had found a new line of the Sinful Colors nail polish. It’s called the Sinful Shine with Gel Tech and I was intrigued by this specific shade. The shade is called In The Limelight 1233. I have to say I love this! I never thought I’d buy a lime green polish but I wanted to get out of comfort zone. It’s a fun spring/summer color. I really do like the finished result, I did not put any top coat and it’s shiny. It really does look like a gel polish.

I hope you all loved this color! I’ll be sure to buy more shades from this line. 🙂

Maybelline Color Show “Dust of Bronze”

For this Mani Friday, I’m wearing Maybelline Color Show in the shade Dust of Bronze. It’s a pretty neutral bronze color with lots of shimmer. I love using this one as an accent nail.

Twisted Tuesday

I always heard bad things about the Wet ‘n Wild nail polishes but it was on sale so I figured hey! let me buy and try it out. worst case scenerio if I don’t like it I could just return it or exchange it. I ended up getting the Wet ‘n Wild Megalast in Candy-licious 209C. I love it!

Its a bubble gum pink and is very vibrant. It doesn’t chip as bad as some of the other brands.

What I love most about this nail polish is the brush! The brush is called ManiCurve Pro Brush, its pretty big so that just one swipe could cover the whole nail. Who wouldn’t love that?!
