I hope everyone is doing great. Sorry for being so MiA, with so many things going on recently I’ve been swamped. From getting sick, family dilemmas to starting work!

So this past weekend January 25-27, the ISSE (International Salon and Spa Expo) 2014 came upon us in the Long Beach Convention Center, CA. I went on Saturday and felt so overwhelmed (having this be my first time to any such expo) haha. I did some shopping but didn’t break the bank! haha What I love about these expos is that there’s so many discounts and so much to see. Here’s a sneak peak to what I splurged on. 🙂

They had a special in the Beauty Bar where you pay only $5 to get 5 deluxe samples. 😀 And may I say, they were pretty big samples.

I got the:

*Repechage Hydra Dew Illuminating Cream Mask: 1 oz

*Repechage Sea Spa Body Wash: 1 oz

*Aveda Dry Remedy daily moisturizing oil: 1 fl oz.

*Orly Polishield all-in-one ultimate topcoat: 0.6 fl oz.

*Rusk Deep Shine Smooth Keratin Care Deep Penetrating Treatment: 4 oz.

I also bought the Intrinsics Naturally Gentle Cleansing Towels and got the Cotton Rounds for free. You could find more products like this at http://www.intrinsics.net/

The Moujan 2000 Pre-Waxed Strips for Face, Brows and Bikini. It came with 6 pre-waxed 2 sided strips for 12 applications and there’s also a vial of oil in case of wax residue. http://www.moujan2000.com/

I always hear so much hype about the Crown Brushes and I had to give it a try! It’s cheap and from what I can tell, its not bad at all. I got the IB132 Stiff Brow Brush. http://www.crownbrush.us/

J.Cat Cosmetics: I never had heard of this company before but when I saw the prices, I was shocked! Some of the products were 3 for $6 or 3 for $9 on other selected products. I got the 3 for $6. http://jcatbeauty.com/

*Roll It Up Auto Lip Liner in “Puce” ( I actually bought it thinking it was a nude eyeliner) But I contacted them and they said it’s perfectly safe to use as an eyeliner. Score!

*Flying Solo Eye Shadow in “138 Down Low”

I then got some freebies just buy walking around and random people passing samples out. That’s another great thing about these types of expos. 😀 I got a Poppin Hair Clip, a nail filer on one side and the other side is a mirror and a few hair samples from Amika: Oil Treatment and a Nourishing Mask.
