I came across a frame at Dollar Tree and just needed to snap a picture and buy it!

First of all, its a floral design with the first huge cursive word. Second, I saw the word Bloom and took it as a sign as it’s for me!

Happy Thursday loves!

Apparently this week is all different post wise! I’ve been on a book shopping spree and I’m loving my recent purchase. I’ve long past the romance fiction reading phase and now I’m into self help books. (*Thats what happens when you turn 30!*) 😛

My recent purchase was: You are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life by Jen Sincero. I really have been enjoying self help books that speak their mind and don’t sugar coat things! I personally love having the idea of having people tell me straight out what’s going on.

I’ve been jumping around the pages finding a feel for the book and I came across: “If you want to live a life you’ve never lived, you have to do things you’ve never done.”

Have you guys read any interesting books lately? I would love to hear it!

His Endless Love Book Review

Happy Saturday loves!

Don’t you hate it when you can’t finish a book you’ve been trying to finish?! Well in this case, I finished it in 2 days! I was lucky enough to get chosen to read and review a book that my fellow blogger wrote. His Endless Love: Unconditional and Everlasting by Samantha Sali. To be honest though, I haven’t read any inspirational books as I used to, but this book made me want to get back into it.

In this book, Samantha talks about finding God’s love throughout her life. Despite everything she went through, she opened her heart and feelings to help other people as well.

What I really liked about this book was that she used her own experiences as well as other people’s experiences and advice. No matter whatever is happening in your life, you still have that one person who loves you and wants to be with you forever. God. If a man who’s daughter was brutally murdered can forgive her murderer, why can’t we do the same?!

I am definitely looking forward reading her next book!

What is a Rose?

Hey guys
I figured I’d do a little something different than my usual posts. In high school, I used to write oh so many poems. Some of them didn’t rhyme and some did. This is my favorite one that I’ve written. I hope you enjoy it 🙂

What is a rose?

What is a red rose,

when lovers give it to one another?

When in their hands, it fades and dies,

so will their love.

What is a yellow rose,

symbolize in friendship?

The friends we have had in the past,

the present and the future.

What is a white rose,

represent in a wedding?

To remind us that we do have a love,

Even though we may not be aware of it.

So what is a rose,

in all colors and all occasions?

To remind us of life,

the good and the bad.
