Vanity Fair Social Club Emmy’s 2015

Happy Thursday loves!

So on Monday, I hinted that today would be about the exclusive Vanity Fair Social Club hosted by WeWork in Hollywood, CA. It was a 2 day event with special panels, cocktails and snacks and celebrities. I walked in there and felt so overwhelmed considering I’ve never been to an event like this!

When I walked in, the first thing I noticed was the big Viktor & Rolf flowebed! Instead of a photo booth, you would lay down on this bed of plastic flowers and pose for the camera. You could have opted for a 4 GIF photo or just one pose.flowerbed

Everytime you posted on either Twitter or Instagram and showed the Social Club attendent, you’re eligible to get a few free gifts. Five were gifts and 1 was a sweepstakes.

Free Gifts:

Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf

Chloe Wine Collection Corkscrew

and the sweepstakes was the Absolut Elyx Perfect Pineapple

The Panels:

First there was a interview with Matthew Weiner (the Mad Men creator)

Then an interview with Tony Goldwyn, the sexy actor, director and producer of Scandal. President Fitzgerald Grant!

Another interview with Sarah Paulson (actor from American Horror Story.

I sadly had to leave right after Sarah’s interview so I missed the next few events. 😦

There was a 10th anniversary toast for Viktor & Rolf and right after that was a conversation with Keegan Michael Key and Jordan Peel (Key & Peele’s )

There was complimentary refreshments and cocktails. I personally just stuck to water and lemonade. and of course a glass of champagne for the Viktor & Rolf toast. Their lunch was adorable! A mini deep dish pizza and a cookie!

So yes it was a bit overwelming but hey now I know what to expect for next time!!

Thanks again to BloggerBabes invitation!

Revlon Nail Art Tortoise Shell

Happy Monday loves!

I hope you all enjoyed your weekend! Anyone end up watching the Emmys?!

I was lucky enough to get to be invited to the Vanity Fair Social Club this weekend, so I thought I would change up my usual nail polish routine.

I found this hidden gem at the Dollar Tree a few days ago and just had to buy it!

It’s the Revlon Nail Art Shiny Matte in 520 Tortoise Shell. On one side, there’s a matte wine color and on the other side, it’s a shiny metallic gold. The nail art aspect is actually on the gold side, so I wanted to do somewhat of a jagged gold tip. It’s definitely a work in progress though! (hehe)

PS: There’s a lot of new exciting posts coming up these 2 weeks! One including a sneak peek into the Vanity Fair Social Club hosted this past weekend!
