TreSkinRX 2-Week Trial Kit Review

Hey loves!

Hope you’ve all been well! 🙂

I was sent a free 2 week trial of the TreSkinRX for Normal Skin. It’s been awhile since I did this review but I wanted to finish the whole product in order to get my full opinion on it!

Most skin care products main ingredient is water but why pay so much for a product when the main ingredient is water? I don’t get it either. The difference about this product than other high brand products is that this is based on Aloe Vera.

The Benefits of Aloe Vera:

*Penetrates tissue

*Anti-inflammatory

*Anti-microbial

*Wound Healing

*Therapeutic

*Supported by clinical research

*Anesthetic

2 week trial

There are three different kits available:

1. Normal Skin

2. Oily Skin

3. Acne “Clear Skin”

For a two-week product trial kit it would be $14.99 (not bad considering it being a trial)

THE BREAKDOWN:

Step 1: Purifying Cleanser:

It’s a gel cleanser that feels refreshing. It removes makeup, dirt, debri and oil but doesn’t have that drying effect. Your skin feels soft and clean.

Step 2:  EX3 Daily Renewing Exfoliant:

When I first saw this I was amazed. It’s a sea green color with blue-green micro-beads that are filled with Vitamin C. For most exfoliants/scrubs, you put it on while your face is wet but this one is actually applied when your skin is dry! You basically apply it to your face so that the micro-beads dissolve and wait a few minutes before you put on the moisturizer. At first, it advises you to apply it once a day but then after the 1st week you can apply it up to 2 times a day. That was my first time hearing that you can exfoliate twice a day! By the way, Do Not Rinse Off!

Step 3: Triple Defense Day Moisturizer with SPF 15

It helps protect the skin from external factors that cause premature aging and helps the skin stay soft and smooth. I personally love the feeling of this moisturizer. It’s soft and does not have a heavy or greasy feeling.

Step 4: Night Repair Moisturizer

Before you go to sleep, you apply this night moisturizer to restore and preserve your skin’s natural moisture level and revive your skin’s tension and firmness. Just like the day moisturizer, there’s no greasy heavy feeling which is great.

My Tips:

*If you feel like the exfoliant is getting runny or too liquid-y, you could shake it and stir it with a spatula or toothpick. You could also put it in the fridge for a while.

*When you apply the moisturizers, apply using upward and outward strokes. (it decreases wrinkles)

*If you’re going to work out, apply the exfoliant after your workout.

*It’s supposed to be a 3-week trial but for me it lasted longer because I only need to use a small amount.

I did like using this kit. It was a new experience. I really did enjoy the EX3 Exfoliant because as an esthetician, I’m amazed that I found an exfoliant that you can use daily!

Kashi Hummus Crisps Review

hummusCrisps

Hey Lovelies! 🙂 Hope everything is going great for you all!

I got this Kashi Hummus Crisps complimentary of BzzAgent in the flavor of Sea Salt and Olive Oil. When I first heard of it, I was honestly uneasy about it since I figured hummus and chips mixed together? But then I was definitely wrong! First of all they’re delicious, addicting and most importantly healthy. I’m a snacker so when I want to snack, I walk over to Walmart and buy chips. We’ve all been there sadly haha and you want to buy chips but the calories almost stop you. You won’t have to worry about that with this crisps.

Back-to-School Sales

Hey loves,

I wanted to do a little something different since school is approaching fairly quickly whether it being elementary, junior high, high school or even college and we all know how stressful it can be to go back to school shopping. I think we can all relate, 20 years ago, back to school shopping was pretty easy in a way. We didn’t have to worry about what brand of backpacks and notebooks we had.  We didn’t have to worry about all the different kind of electronics like cell phones, laptops and calculators! Although at the same time we didn’t have too many places to shop for school supplies, we didn’t know where the great deals and we didn’t have as many coupons available I believe. As a kid, my parents would take my sister and I to Target, Kmart, Walgreens, Walmart and the Dollar stores.

Some tips you can use while going through this crazy shopping season:

  • You can use coupons from Target along with a Cartwheel deal.
  • You could also use a Target coupon with a manufacturer coupon.
  • Try using coupons as much as possible especially at drug stores.
  • Try as much as you can to start shopping from August, not last minute.

CVS had a sale earlier advertising if you bought $20 worth participating brands, you could get a $5 Classroom Gift card.

According to the Find&Save Back-to-School Shopping Experience survey:

83% of children shop and choose their back-to-school supplies with their parents.

53% use a cell phone while shopping to find good deals/sales.

80% will spend under $400 on back to school shopping.

and

50% report that the parents start back-to-school shopping in August.

With Find&Save, Wanderful Media is helping retailers by engaging shoppers around local sales and products, with the intent of driving shoppers across the threshold of retail stores. Find&Save is available to shoppers wherever they are, via tablet, mobile or web.

Here’s a link to the summary of the Survey that Find&Save did.
