Happy Wednesday loves!
Have any of you noticed it’s almost impossible to grab a Target Beauty Box before it sells out?! Well miraculously, I was able to grab one this time for the Fall Beauty Box. I only paid $5 which is pretty good considering that you get samples and one or 2 full size products. I personally wanted this box just because there was more hair products for curly hair!
Pretty Animalz by Look Beauty: Panda Calming Facials Sheet Mask- it provides intensive hydration and calms skin with an aromatic lavender scent. I will definitely use this on my at home spa day. The first full size product!
St. Ives: Invigorating Apricot Scrub – it helps reduce breakouts before they occur while it’s made of natural exfoliants for a gentle and deep cleanse. I personally I don’t use this for my face. From what I’ve learned: Apricot seed is indeed very sharp so I only use this for my at-home pedicures.
Curls: Blueberry Leave In Conditioner – it’s a special formula that helps to hydrate, boost healthy hair growth and support strong keratin production.
SheaMoisture: Argan Oil & Argan Milk Shampoo and Blowout Creme – argan oil, shea butter and almond milk gently cleanses to tame frizz and improve shine. I’ve received this before and I’m glad I got another sample of it! The blowout creme works perfectly for blow drying curly hair.
Curls Unleashed: Curl Defining Creme – it’s a lasting moisture that treats even the most dry and damaged hair, leaving it soft, smooth and manageable.
Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Moisturizing Body Lotion – cocoa butter enriched with Vitamin E helps to smooth marks, heal, soften and tone skin. I’ve heard about this everywhere, however, it’s my first time trying it out!
Chapstick: Hydration in Blood Orange – an advanced 3-1 formula that helps moisturize, renew and transform for more youthful-looking lips. Another full size product!
There you have it loves! A review of the Target Fall Beauty Box! What do you think? Have any of you tried or received any Target beauty boxes?
Hello Loves! I hope you all are doing great this week! 🙂 I always walk in drugstores just planning to look at the new products but I always get sucked in looking at the sales and clearance areas. Tsk Tsk for me. :p Hi. I’m Chrissy and I’m a beauty junkie! I ended up buying things from Target, Walmart, CVS, and Rite Aid. Walmart I bought the Trim Manicure Kit that included a nail clipper, a toenail clipper, 2 cuticle sticks, a salon board and tweezers. It’s practical and I needed to restock on the salon board and cuticle sticks. For some reason, I’m always losing my nail clippers and the time that I need to clip them, they’re gone! This only costed $0.97 and that’s the original price! I’ve never really took care of my nails but I figured I would start so I bought the Sally Hansen Cuticle Massage Cream with apricot oil for less than $5. It intensively moisturizes and conditions which is a plus since at work I’m always using my hands. I was looking at my Ibotta app (which is a rebate app for purchasing different things and getting cashback) and found that they’ll pay you back $1 for buying the Olay Fresh Effects Va-Va-Vivid Cleaning System. These usually run about $10-15 a piece but I was lucky enough to find a few on clearance for only $5! It comes with the Shine, Shine Go Away Cleanser along with a cleansing brush. CVS Just recently, CVS started selling NYX products finally! Now I can earn that $5 ExtraCare Buck for beauty purchases including NYX. I got the NYX Wonder Pencil in the shade Light. It can be used as a concealer, eye brightener, and a reverse lip liner. I used it as an eyeliner for the waterline and my, it works wonders! Literally as its name! I’ve heard marvelous things about the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 20 Sand Sable. I’d advise to go to that magic red machine that gives you coupons when you scan your card because you’ll be surprised sometimes. When I scanned my card, I had one coupon that was $3 off any Maybelline cosmetic and another coupon that was $5 off a Physicians Formula purchase. I can’t complain on those! Target The only thing I got was the NYC Long Wearing Nail Enamel in 141 Red Velvet Rope.
Ahh this is so overdo! This is supposed to be a mini jewelry haul from October but I’ve been swamped with school. Last few weeks are approaching. >_<
So last month (October) was my birthday month and I did quite some damage when it came to jewelry.
Target had a sale earlier in October, buy an accessory (watches, earrings, sunglasses and necklaces), get one free. I’m not much into sunglasses or necklaces and I already have a signature watch that I own, so it came down to earrings!
One of the earrings I bought is a 3 set. A small silver coiled hoop, a medium sized hoop and and a larger hoop. Not bad for paying 4.99 especially it being a 3 set.
The second earring I got was this grayish black teardrop dangling earrings with flowers coming from the inside. This one was also 4.99
This last one I actually got from Sears. It’s also a teardrop earring that looks gold in the picture but is actually a silver one. It also has designs coming in from the inside. It feels heavy but it’s actually not.
I must say I think I may have a thing with dangl-y and teardrop earrings. hehe
Do any of you guys like shopping at Target for jewelry?
I always heard bad things about the Wet ‘n Wild nail polishes but it was on sale so I figured hey! let me buy and try it out. worst case scenerio if I don’t like it I could just return it or exchange it. I ended up getting the Wet ‘n Wild Megalast in Candy-licious 209C. I love it!
Its a bubble gum pink and is very vibrant. It doesn’t chip as bad as some of the other brands.
What I love most about this nail polish is the brush! The brush is called ManiCurve Pro Brush, its pretty big so that just one swipe could cover the whole nail. Who wouldn’t love that?!

Everyone by now probably has heard about Maybelline’s 24 Hour Color Tattoo Eyeshadows and there’s a reason for it!
I probably have almost every one of them except a few. My favorite thing about them is that it really does stay 24 hours. You know everyone has those days that you’re just too tired to take off your makeup from a long night out. I’ve done that a few times (like everyone else) 😉 and when I woke up, I still had the eyeshadow on. It didn’t smear, budge or anything; it still looked like it was just put on. Oh the pigment!
Here’s the ones that I already own with a little description of the color
*15 Audacious Asphalt – sparkly dark grayish
*25 Bad to the Bronze –
*30 Pomegranate Punk
*35 Tough as Taupe
*40 Tenacious Teal
*45 Bold Gold

Then the Metal Collection:
*55 Inked in Pink
*65 Gold Rush
The Limited Edition Fall Colors 2012
