CVS Revlon Nail Polish Deal 4/16/2017-4/22/2017

Happy Wednesday loves!

I don’t always post about nail polishes twice a week, but I couldn’t pass this opportunity!

CVS has a deal: $4.99 Revlon Nail Polishes and get $3 back in ExtraCare Reward bucks.

To my surprise even the set was $4.99 which comes with a ColorStay Polish with a Top Cost. This usually costs about $12.

I suggest running over to CVS and score this deal!!

OPI Breakfast at Tiffany’s On the Go Kit

Happy Monday loves!

Have you ever went into a store knowing you were just going to browse and half an hour later, you buy more than you expected?! TJ Maxx is that store for me. I always have to take a look at their beauty products. This day was no different! I came across an OPI nail kit and once I realized it was Aubrey Hepburn, I knew I needed to buy it! Not only do I think Aubrey Hepburn was a great role model but Breakfast at Tiffany’s is probably one of my favorite movies.

OPI Breakfast at Tiffany’s On the Go Kit came with a few products which intrigued me to say the least.

The kit included the Nail Envy Original which is a nail strengthener, an Avoplex Cuticle Oil-to-go, Avoplex High Intensity Hand & Nail Cream and 3 Wipe Off! Acetone-Free Lacquer Remover Wipes.

I can’t wait to try Nail Envy because for some reason my nails have been quicker to chip than usual. 😦

FYI, this deal only cost me $9.99, which isn’t bad considering that OPI is somewhat an expensive brand!

Covergirl “195 Nemesis”

Happy Tuesday loves!

Hope you all had a great week, sorry I’ve been a bit MIA, work has been a bit hectic. I wanted to change things a bit, and so I’m posting a Mani Tuesday! :p

I was getting tired of wearing pastel spring colors and wanted something dark again. I opted for the Covergirl 195 Nemesis. It’s a dark wine red, and had to apply 2 coats of it to get it this dark.

I really can’t get over this color! Kandee Johnson was the first youtube beauty guru I ever watched. So to see her progress and collab with Sinful Colors, I was ecstatic that this came in the VoxBox! I’ve seen them sold at Walgreens for $1.99.

L’Oreal Ever Pure Moisture Care Review

Happy Wednesday loves!

I recently took the plunge and dyed my hair a medium red brown, so when Influenster sent me the L’Oreal Ever Pure Moisture Shampoo, Conditioner and 10-in-1 Elixir, I couldn’t have been more excited! I don’t know about you, but when I dye my hair, I feel like sometimes the color dies down and fades away within a few weeks. Or maybe that’s just the reds. :p

The Claims:

*For the Shampoo and Conditioner, it claims that it’s a moisturizing formula with Rosemary flower botanical that quenches dryness, and keeps color pure for up to 4 weeks.

*Elixir: Nourishes, Hydrates, Soothes, Repairs, Density, Smooth, Textures, Strengthens, more softness and adds shine.

**100% Sulfate-Free, Paraben-Free, Free of Harsh Salts and Dye-Free

My Impressions:

I personally love it. The shampoo and conditioner both smell heavenly (a hint of rosemary and floral scents). My favorite would have to be the 10-in-1 elixir. It really did make my hair feel softer and hydrated.

I definitely look forward trying the Deep Nourishing, Repair & Defend and the Frizz-Defy lines!

Red Flames Mani Mondays

Happy 2017 my loves! I hope you all had a safe and wonderful New Years Day. I really do hope that 2017 brings everyone happiness!

Welcome to my very first blog post of 2017. You can definitely expect many more blog posts this year.

Frankly, I don’t know the name of the red polish that I used except that it was in the Wet n Wild Holiday Nail Set. It’s a creamy red that works perfectly for the holiday season. As for the gold flickers of glitter, that was from the CoverGirl Hunger Games line.

What do you guys think? Here goes to a prosperous 2017!

Kiko Milano Smart Nail Lacquer “38 Metallic Copper”

Happy Monday loves, only a week away from Christmas!!

I don’t know about your weather, but wow it’s pretty chilly here in California!

I went to the mall a few weeks ago and I just had to walk into the Kiko Milano makeup store. I’ve been looking for a change in nail polish colors and I’ve never had a polish from them so I took the plunge and bought it. It goes on retail for $2.90 and it’s 7.0ml (which is not bad at all in my opinion)

Pros:

*It does dry quickly, I can easily fit it in my purse for travel if needed and the bristles are large which make it easier to distribute it evenly.

Cons:

*My only con would have to be that I had to reapply the polish three times to get the color I wanted and yet it didn’t come out as it shows in the bottle.

Overall, I like this polish, I definitely would love to try the other polishes both the Smart nail lacquers and the other types. The color comes out as a lighter copper, almost looking like a rose gold color. Who doesn’t like rose gold?!
