Monday Bites: Magic Spoon Cereal Review

Happy Monday you guys! I hope you had a great weekend! It’s really starting to look like spring here in California, it’s been so pretty.

I got a question for you all….On Saturday mornings, what was your favorite type of cereal? For me, it was Lucky Charms and Reeses Puffs. Now that we’re older, I know we are all trying to reduce our sugar intake? Am I right? Not cut it all out but at least have less. Well ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce Magic Spoon to you all. Magic Spoon cereals bring back your child like cereals but in an adult way. Listen to this:

I ordered my variety pack from Amazon and here are the flavors that were included:

Peanut Butter – remember when I mentioned that one of my favorite cereals growing up was Reese’s Puff? Well this was literally an exact reminder of my childhood memories. Yes a bit less sweet, but that’s the beauty of it!
Frosted – this one reminded me of Frosted Flakes (theeeey’re GREEEEEAT) and Frosted Cheerios
Cocoa – it honestly reminded me of the many chocolate cereals we grew up on: Cocoa Puffs, Chocolate Cheerios and Chocolate Peebles
Fruity – of course we had to have a fruit flavored cereal! This reminds me of course Fruity Pebbles and Fruit Loops.

If I had to choose a favorite, it would have to be Peanut Butter hands down. First of all, I love most things that taste like peanut butter and its healthy! Here’s to 2022 being healthier than the past years!

Vali Hair Strong Vitamins Review

I hope you’ve all been great! Things have been hectic these few pasts weeks but I promise I’m back for good! I’ve got so many things and ideas planned for this blog!

This is an overdue review but like they always say, better late than never right?!

I’ve been wanting to get my hair more manageable since it’s always just so curly. So when I got the opportunity to get selected to review the Vali Hair Strong Vitamins, I had to try it.

Here’s the lowdown on these vitamins:

**It’s a dietary supplement that helps with hair health and growth as well as having thicker “fuller” and stronger.

**No artificial flavors of preservatives and is vegetarian!

**To use: Take 2 capsules once daily and for best results use it for at least 30 days.

**Helps with radiant skin and nail as well.

**Ingredients include: Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Biotin, Zinc, Hyaluronic Acid, Bamboo Stem Extract, Solubilized Keratin, Stinging Nettle Root Extract, Saw Palmetto Berry Extract, Horsetail Whole Herb Powder and Collagen powder.

My Take on these vitamins:

I’ve tried other hair vitamins but in my honest opinion, my favorite is now this one. Like I’ve mentioned before, my hair is very curly and sometimes just way to curly to manage. But to my surprise, as I started using it, my hair started to show signs of improvement! That’s never happened before. For the first week or so, I just took one capsule a day just so my body could get used to it.

After the first week, I started taking 2 capsules a day and even when I did that, my hair, skin and nails improved greatly. At one point, I was washing my hair in the shower and guess what? Combing through it was just perfect, no knots or tangles. What usually takes up to 30 minutes to wash my hair, it got cut down to just 15 minutes. Thank God, it’s a miracle!

I’ve never really had an issue with my nails but I did notice that they started chipping and breaking, so by using this vitamin it helped out as well.

Out of many things I’ve tried, these vitamins are a win for me and I will gladly buy another one or two bottles of this heaven sent hair vitamins!

Happy Easter Sunday loves! I hope you all had a great week! I hope you all have a blessed Easter for those who celebrate it!

I don’t know about you guys, but I feel like 2018 is a completely different year for me!

I finally got a new full time job and I’m loving it at the moment and also training at a financial firm! I’m so excited. This job entails using your mind and noticing the small things so I figured there’s no real cons to testing it.

My Results:

I realized that when I first started this new job, it wouldn’t be like the other ones I’ve had. Meaning that I would have to wake up earlier, have an efficient breakfast and prep for my day. I would usually just wake up a little bit before an hour I would have to be up, get any type of breakfast and coffee and just go to work.

That’s not the case anymore though!

Eye and Vision Health: I did see and feel differently after taking these vitamins for a month or two. You would think that after working on a computer for 7 hours, your eyes would be dry and in pain. But the quite opposite happened, I didn’t have a problem when I got home.

Energy and Weight Loss: I do feel like it somewhat curbs your appetite which is good since I’m usually one to snack on something every few hours. Usually junk food but I’ve felt a difference. I get more energy during the day at the time most people crash around 3:30pm. As for the focus and cognition, I think it really helped during these first 2 months of my new job.

Lastly but not least. the pills aren’t that big and very easy to swallow.

Is it worth it? Would I buy it again?

Yes and Yes! I would recommend this if you’re forgetful and need more focus in life.

His Endless Love Book Review

Happy Saturday loves!

Don’t you hate it when you can’t finish a book you’ve been trying to finish?! Well in this case, I finished it in 2 days! I was lucky enough to get chosen to read and review a book that my fellow blogger wrote. His Endless Love: Unconditional and Everlasting by Samantha Sali. To be honest though, I haven’t read any inspirational books as I used to, but this book made me want to get back into it.

In this book, Samantha talks about finding God’s love throughout her life. Despite everything she went through, she opened her heart and feelings to help other people as well.

What I really liked about this book was that she used her own experiences as well as other people’s experiences and advice. No matter whatever is happening in your life, you still have that one person who loves you and wants to be with you forever. God. If a man who’s daughter was brutally murdered can forgive her murderer, why can’t we do the same?!

I am definitely looking forward reading her next book!

Have you ever read a book that you started reading in public, but later on couldn’t?!

I was lucky enough to receive a signed copy of She Can Fly, written by Michael G. Gabel and lived by Kerry Keyes.

Picture this: A young girl finding the man of her dreams who sweeps her off her feet and treats her like a princess. But something happens to his personality one day coming home from work. He’s pissed off and does the unthinkable when she asks how his day went. He slaps her as he’s pissed off. He says sorry and that he’ll never do it again but it does happen again and again. Having to make her do things against the law and threatening to take her children away. Then one day she gets caught and goes through so many struggles and when she does get out and lives her life, she goes under a new identity.

The Main Characters:

*Kerry: a bright smart young woman who got caught up with the wrong guy and had to go through so much things to get her where she is now.

*Wayman: a man who seemed like a gentlemen who doesn’t show his true colors until later and is a ruthless man who doesn’t know when to stop.

Mikey: a young boy that Kerry had babysat and she became his best friend. He plays an important role in this book, but you don’t know when! 😉

How many times have you heard about a domestic violence case and it didn’t make sense that the woman stayed in the relationship? This book goes behind the scenes to show you it’s not always easy to get out. There’s so many things we don’t know about domestic violence cases.

My Review:

I’m not going to lie, but when I first received it, I was a feeling a little sketchy about it. The only reason I felt sketchy at first was because I received another Vitamin C serum that purely felt like just water with a hint of a scent. Lets not ramble on the bad product haha. Back to the original review.

The Texture: it’s smooth and perfect in the sense of feeling like a serum. It dries pretty quickly and has no feeling of an oily or greasy texture. I wore moisturizer after applying the serum but didn’t feel heavy at all.

How I used it: I shook the bottle lightly for 1-2 seconds just so the natural ingredients weren’t separated. I applied 1 drop to my forehead, two drops on both cheeks and one last drop on my chin and decollete. I then waited until it dried and then applied my moisturizer.

The Scent: I love the scent! In my opinion, it smells like orange or something citrus-y (if that’s even a word!)

After using it for a month or so, I have seen such a difference on my face. It seems more supple, soft, smooth and it really does help even out the skin tone.

MY REVIEW:

I’m usually a skeptical when it comes to trying new moisturizers that help with my dry skin. However, when I first opened the package, it seemed very creamy and rich. It smells like something you would wear to the beach! It’s very refreshing and has a very strong scent of aloe vera and a hint of chamomile. When I applied it to my face, it felt refreshing and after blending onto my face, it wasn’t sticky or greasy. After using it for 2 weeks, I really do feel a difference in my face. It felt more soft, less dry and more plump.

I definitely love the packaging! It has a very sophisticated look especially with the silver cover. I’m known to like anything that has to do with the color silver! 🙂

I give this 5 stars out of 5 stars. I would definitely purchase this later in the future and it does take a long time to finish!

Twisted Tuesday

I always heard bad things about the Wet ‘n Wild nail polishes but it was on sale so I figured hey! let me buy and try it out. worst case scenerio if I don’t like it I could just return it or exchange it. I ended up getting the Wet ‘n Wild Megalast in Candy-licious 209C. I love it!

Its a bubble gum pink and is very vibrant. It doesn’t chip as bad as some of the other brands.

What I love most about this nail polish is the brush! The brush is called ManiCurve Pro Brush, its pretty big so that just one swipe could cover the whole nail. Who wouldn’t love that?!
